Libra Sky
A Libran artist
Who balances harmony
Among changing winds
In “Libra sky” I delve into the mystical realm of the zodiac sign Libra, capturing its essence through a dreamy sky-scape rendered in a fusion of watercolors and pastels. Allowing my brushstrokes to move like the flowing air billows, I used color and shape to capture an aura of serenity and elegance. Shades of pale blue and delicate green intertwine in a passing breeze, a touch upon the Libran affinity for balance and peace.
This is an original painting created on a 9” x 12” paper with an unpainted border of around ⅜”. The paper I use is Arches heavy weight 140lb cold-pressed watercolor paper designed for the watercolor techniques I use. Keep in mind, slight warping of the paper is normal for watercolor and does not affect the presentation of the piece once framed. I believe using the highest quality materials for each of my paintings for beautiful vibrant colors that are long-lasting for generations to come.
