Virgo Sky
Practical knowledge
Points the Virgoan compass

In “Virgo sky” I delve into the mystical realm of the zodiac sign Virgo, capturing its essence through a dreamy sky-scape rendered in a fusion of watercolors and pastels. By using an array of practical shapes and golden yellow tones, I touched on the grounding presence of the Virgoan earth element. Through dark contrast of the unknown connected with woven light threads of information I analyzed the endless Virgo curiosity, who forever seeks to know and understand.
This is an original painting created on a 9” x 12” paper with an unpainted border of around ⅜”. The paper I use is Arches heavy weight 140lb cold-pressed watercolor paper designed for the watercolor techniques I use. Keep in mind, slight warping of the paper is normal for watercolor and does not affect the presentation of the piece once framed. I believe using the highest quality materials for each of my paintings for beautiful vibrant colors that are long-lasting for generations to come.
