Dives the Scorpio psyche
Through intense deep seas
In “Scorpio sky” I delve into the mystical realm of the zodiac sign Scorpio, capturing its essence through a dreamy sky-scape rendered in a fusion of watercolors and pastels. Through blending an array of deep colors such as rich plum, aqua green, and midnight blue I aim to capture an atmosphere of intrigue and introspection. Drawing inspiration from the intensity of the ocean's depths, this piece depicts the hidden truths in the minds of a Scorpio.
This is an original painting created on a 9” x 12” paper with an unpainted border of around ⅜”. The paper I use is Arches heavy weight 140lb cold-pressed watercolor paper designed for the watercolor techniques I use. Keep in mind, slight warping of the paper is normal for watercolor and does not affect the presentation of the piece once framed. I believe using the highest quality materials for each of my paintings for beautiful vibrant colors that are long-lasting for generations to come.
